I acquired my basic musical knowledge at the former ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Zurich. To deepen my musical knowledge, I started at Berklee College of Music in 2017 to study Songwriting and Music Production.
In 2014, I founded the project ‘Project 8309’, which sets itself the task of supporting local artists voluntarily. On the dedicated Youtube channel, the supported artists have received over 2 million visits with and acquired more than 4,000 subscribers.
My work as a composer, mixing, mastering engineer, or producer includes artists such as Beecher's Fault (NYC), Emanuel Mar (Vancouver), Ben Botfield (Manchester), or Frische Fische (Bern).
I have been under the stage name dezabel since 2019. I produce my songs in rural Oberwil, near Zurich, and cooperate with fellow students in the United States and the United Kingdom. My music is a fusion of pop / R&B / jazz and film music. I describe my sound as, "When Zurich meets L.A.".
