The producer acquired his basic musical knowledge in the 1990s at the former ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Zurich.


In 2014, he founded the project ‘Project 8309’, which sets itself the task of supporting local artists voluntarily. On the Youtube channel, they have had over 2 million visits with their productions and over 4,000 subscribers.


To deepen his musical knowledge, he started at Berklee College of Music in 2017 to study Songwriting and Music Production.


His work as a composer, mixing, mastering engineer, or producer includes artists such as Beecher's Fault (NYC), Emanuel Mar (Vancouver), Ben Botfield (Manchester) or Frische Fische (Bern).


He has been under the stage name dezabel since 2019. He produces his songs in rural Oberwil, near Zurich, and cooperates with fellow students in the United States and the United Kingdom. His music is a fusion of pop / R&B / jazz and film music. He describes his sound as, "When Zurich meets L.A.".
